SELL YOUR HOUSE now or in the spring??

11 reasons to Sell Your House during the Holidays instead of waiting till spring.

11. By selling now, you may have an opportunity to be a non-contingent buyer during the Spring when there are traditionally more houses on the market which c...ould ultimately drive prices down. This could mean you sell high and buy low.

10. You can sell now for more money and we will provide for a delayed closing or extended occupancy until early next year.

9. Even though your house will be on the market, you still have the option to restrict showings during the six or seven days around the Holidays.

8. January is traditionally the month for employees to begin new jobs. Since transfers cannot wait until Spring to buy, you need to be on the market during the Holidays to capture the market.

7. Some people must buy before the end of the year for tax reasons.

6. Buyers have more time to look for a home during the Holidays than they do during a work week.

5. Buyers are more emotional during the Holidays, so they are more likely to pay your price.

4. Houses show better when decorated for the Holidays.

3. When supply goes down it means there is a greater opportunity to capture motivated buyers AND a better sales price for you.

2. Serious buyers have fewer houses to choose from during the Holidays and less competition means more money for you.

And the number one reason why your seller should list during the Holidays …

1. People who look for homes during the Holidays are more serious buyers!

Grogan Group Buyer’s Agent Wins BOLD Keller Williams Realty – Arlington and Southlake Award

Lauren Cox (right) wins the BOLD Buyer's Agent award

The Grogan Group added another notch to its already impressive belt today, as lead buyer’s agent Lauren Cox won the BOLD Buyer’s Agent award for the Arlington and Southlake branches of Keller Williams Realty.
Cox was the only buyer’s agent to win the presentation award out of 110 agents participating in the BOLD program. Bold is a seven-week training course that conditions agents to adopt mindset exercises, language techniques, business-building strategies and live lead generation activities.
“Lauren has proved once again that she is a rockstar real estate agent,” said Kimberly Grogan, owner of The Grogan Group. “She has really taken BOLD’s teachings to heart. There’s not a doubt in my mind that she can help anyone find their dream home.”
This isn’t the first time Cox has been honored in the past two months.  In October, the buyer’s agent won the Keller Williams Realty – Arlington Spirit Award. The Grogan Group also won the branch’s Million Dollar Club award on the same day.
“I love working with The Grogan Group!” said Cox. “We’re an unstoppable team. Keller Williams has given us the tools we need to help everyone with their real estate goals—regardless of whether our clients are looking to buy or sell a home.”
Cox isn’t the only multiple award winner at The Grogan Group. Kimberly Grogan won the coveted 2012 Keller Williams Realty InternationalRookie of the Year award, along with several other awards, last year.
The Grogan Group is a Keller Williams real estate team that mixes youthful energy with experienced knowhow. The team consists of six dedicated members, including four agents, one executive assistant and one marketing strategist. Together, the team buys and sells homes in Arlington, Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
